On February 23rd, superstar artist Don Toliver dropped off his third studio album, “Love Sick” that comest a great time for his fans that have patiently waited for new music. This body of work has an overall theme of the ups and downs of being in a loving relationship with a significant other.
The Houston MC has always made a conscious effect to release affectionate and well-crafted music. This project is no different as it’s an appropriate length and is not dominated by features. The features on this include the likes of James Blake, Justin Bieber, Future and Kali Uchis. Toliver is in a romantic relationship with Kali Uchis and has been for some time now before the release of this album.
One of the lead singles off the project, “Leave The Club” has features from Chicago’s Lil Durk and rising female rapper GloRilla. Throughout the week leading uptown the album’s release, Toliver dropped off short skits on his YouTube page which helped generate further excitement for the album. Without a considerable doubt, Don Oliver is coming for more praise this time around with the amount of work he’s put into this new project. The energy from this project is something ew and Toliver has added a new kind of album to his discography.
