Yeat is back. That’s right, one of rap’s biggest artists to emerge from 2022 is giving the game a new album “AFTËRLYFE” which has been teased on social media for weeks. The rising MC has a strong fanbase that’s been calling for this new album for months now, dating back to 2022. Now on February 23rd, fans patience is rewarded with the official release of the 22 track project.
Yeat was a steady in rap’s underground scene until around the end of summer of 2021, that’s when everything changed. His music released at the time was going viral and well-liked by most new listeners. As he continued dropping projects, not singles; projects, his unique sound was undeniable to most and by 2022 rap listeners gravitated to his music like flocks of geese.
“AFTËRLYFE” is the encore performance for Yeat’s previous project “Lyfë” that was well received. This project has interesting features from NBA Youngboy, Kranky Kranky and The Talking Ben App. Yes, Yeat used a voice altering app on a song, fans heard it, loved it because it leaked, and now it is releasing with an app credited on the song. This is the first music Yeat has put out since the fall of 2022.
