Lil Yachty released his first single of 2021 titled “Hit Bout It” and it got a feature from Kodak Black. It was exciting to see Kodak back on a song, this also being his first music to drop of the year. Kodak was recently released from prison due to a pardon from former US President Donald Trump. For Yachty, fans are anticipating his album, “Michigan Boat Boy” to come out sometime in 2021.
Lil Yachty’s last album, “Lil Boat 3” was one of his best installments of work which was followed up with a crazy deluxe album in the beginning of winter. It’s exciting to see where his music will take Yachty from here, this next album could be huge for the artist’s career.
He was able to release this dope music video, where each artist is flexing each other’s iconic chains and were surrounded by luxury cars. In the beginning of the video, Kodak Black can be heard discussing how they planned to roll this single and visual as a surprise. The video on YouTube is below.
Yachty has been pretty busy pursuing opportunities outside of music. He’s in talks with Mattel on developing the card game Uno into a action movie and has recently collaborated with Chinatown Market and Reese’s Puffs cereal, which are currently on shelves now at local stores.
